How to pay for a VPS with Monero

Step-by-step: fund your NoctisNode balance with XMR, from picking a wallet to a confirmed balance and a deployed server. No KYC, no cards.

Monero (XMR) is the default privacy payment at NoctisNode: on-chain, fungible, and free of the identity rails that come with cards and processors. This guide walks you from zero to a funded balance.

1. Get a Monero wallet

Any wallet that lets you control the keys works. On desktop, the official Monero GUI or Feather Wallet; on mobile, Cake Wallet or Monerujo; on hardware, a Ledger running the Monero app. Write the seed phrase on paper — never paste it into websites.

2. Acquire XMR without KYC

If you already hold other crypto, swap it on a no-KYC DEX or instant exchanger that settles to an address you control. Mining is also an option for the patient. Whatever route you take, withdraw to your own wallet first — paying NoctisNode directly from an exchange account ties the purchase to that account.

3. Top up your balance

  • Create an account with an email and password — no verification, no phone.
  • Open Top up → Monero and copy the deposit address.
  • Send the amount from your own wallet. One confirmation is enough for small amounts; we credit after the network confirms.
  • Your balance appears in your panel. From there, order any VPS or dedicated plan.

4. Notes worth knowing

Payments are one-shot: the plan debits your balance once per cycle and never auto-renews. If you send slightly too little, top up the difference — the deposit stays on your balance. Subaddress support is available if you want a fresh receive address per deposit.
