IPv6-first plans are now live
We launched a low-cost IPv6-only VPS tier alongside dual-stack on every other plan. IPv6 works out of the box on all images, from a clean address space.
IPv6 was always part of the stack, but today it becomes a first-class product: a new entry-level VPS tier ships IPv6-only with a $2.50 starting price, while every other plan keeps a dedicated IPv4 plus IPv6 on the same interface.
What changed
- ▹New IPv6-only plan for $2.50/month — full root, SSD storage, unmetered bandwidth.
- ▹Dual-stack (IPv4 + /64 IPv6) on all existing VPS and dedicated plans.
- ▹Routing and firewalling for IPv6 are configured automatically at deploy time.
Why it matters
IPv4 addresses are a scarce, rented resource. An IPv6-only instance gives you the same isolation and clean reputation at a fraction of the cost — and every modern Linux image we ship configures IPv6 automatically on first boot.
